The market opened the day flat to moderately higher but on modest volumes. Centum notched 2% higher to KES 51 as foreign investors moved the bulk of the 326k shares in the investment firm. KenolKobil was unchanged, also on foreign investor trades. Britam climbed 7% as demand built up on the insurer after retreating for most of last week. ScanGroup lost 7.2% to KES 35.25 after the marketing services firm released 1H15 results at the close of last week, which underperformed market expectations. EA Cables has not traded after completion of refurbishment of its copper plant.
