Market Insight: May 06, 2015

Nigeria

•  ASI -14bps, $21.4mill
•  During the early stages of the session a significant cross went through in Nestle (1m shares at N1,034)

We expect another day of non-committal from both local and foreign investors. Market activity has been subdued for some time without any clear direction as most sectors and indeed the NSE as a whole doesnt seem to know which way to go. Only the odd cross does light up the market and we expect it to be another day of this especially in the absence of any particular catalyst.
