Absolutely nothing happening.
A dull day in Kenya. Action was heavily centered on KNCB (unch, KES28.50) and Safcom (unch, KES19.00). The rest of the market was relatively dead.
Activity yet again heavily focused in MCBG (unch, Rs215.00) while the rest of the market remains uneventful.
A mammoth day in Lagos mostly thanks to a local-local cross in Seplat ($21m). The rest of the market was also fairly active with a fair number of crosses (both local and foreign participants) going through. The most active stock was Unilever (-2.78%, N35.00) which dragged the consumers down by 26bps. The Banks ended the session down 49bps with activity led by GTB (unch, N24.80) and Zenith Bank (+14bps, N14.40). There were also large crosses in Oando (-4.76%, N4.20) and Forte Oil (-9.74%, N85.47).
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
A better day in Harare thanks to some action in Seedco ($489k).
