Nothing to report from Gaborone with turnover amounting to a paltry $56k.
A below par start to the week in Nairobi with turnover amounting to $5.1m as foreigners dominated proceedings. Foreigners dominated both sides of KNCB as the name closed unchanged on 4.8m shares. Foreign demand drove proceedings in CFC Stanbic as 819k shares traded. EQBNK and BATK were the star performers as the names gained +5.2% and 9.4% respectively while Safcom was very quiet with 2.2m shares traded on the day.
A very solid start to the week from an activity point of view in Port Louis as turnover amountd to $1.91m thanks to some chunky crosses in SBMH (32.3m shares), IBL (158k shares) and MCBG (53k shares).
Not much on the go from an activity point of view in lagos with turnover amounting to $17.3m with some action in Zenith ($3.35m), Guinness ($2.04m), UBA ($1.67m) and NB ($1.44m). Banks had a stellar day with the sector gaining +5.00% with great performances from Access (+10.00%), GTB (+5.48%) and FBNH (+4.96%). Consumers (+3.58%) also had a very strong day with PZ Cussons (+10.22%), Guinness (+9.43%) and NB (+5.00%) amongst the best performers.

Another slow start to the week in Harare as turnover amounted to $417k with some activity in Delta ($268k) the only name worth mentioning.
