Botswana: DSE +0.02%, USD 133k

Not much on the go in Gaborone as turnover amounted to USD 133k with a tiny bit of action in Letshego (301k shares).

Kenya: NSE 20 -0.74%, USD 9.1m

Things slowed down in Nairobi but it was still a decent day as turnover amounted to $9.1m with activity evenly split between locals and foreigners. EQBNK closed -0.5% lower after reporting Q3 2014 numbers after the session yesterday which saw EPS increase +25.9%. KNCB closed the day unchanged as foreigners dominated purchases in the name with 5.33m shares changing hands. Foriegn demand (100% of purchases) drove EABL higher as the brewer managed to gain +1.4%. Not much on the go in Safcom as 6.23m shares traded in the telco.

Mauritius: Semdex -0.06%, USD 2.51m

Activity slowed down in Port Louis but it was still a rather active day with turnover amounting to USD 2.51m. Solid action in the likes of MCBG (120k shares), SBMH (16.68m shares), CIEL (1.27m shares) and SWAN (27k shares) drove activity.

Nigeria: ASI -1.13%, USD 21.5m

Another average day in Lagos with turnover amounting to $21.5m. There was some activity in the likes of GTB ($3.99m), 7UP ($2.82m), DangCem ($1.68m) and FBNH ($1.53m). Banks continued to slide with UBA (-5.00%) and GTB (-4.14%) dragging the sector lower. Consumers (-2.01%) also came under pressure with weakness in Cadbury (-9.75%), Flour Mills (-9.73%), Guinness (-5.00%) and 7UP (-4.62%).

Another dire day in Harare with turnover amounting to USD 160k and nothing to report.
