Nigeria: ASI -0.25%, USD 9.5m

An incredibly uninspiring day to start the week in Lagos. In such a quiet environment it is difficult to gauge true sentiment. Banks fell by 1.37% with weakness across the board although outside of Zenith (unch, N21.70), GTB (-1.75%, N27.00) and ETI (unch, N13.00) there was not much happening in the sector. Consumers were largely unchanged with just some mild activity in UACN (+27bps, N59.21). Oando saw some activity yet closed the day down 4.14% at N15.30.

Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
