A quiet day in Gaborone with BCBB accounting for 82% of turnover.
A slow day to end the week in Nairobi with only Safaricom (+1.7%, $1.3m) and KCB (unch, $1.2m) the only names that managed to reach the USD1m mark. There was also some small activity in Equity, Centum and Co-op.
An impressive day in Lagos today with activity heavily focused on Intebrew (+0.43%, N57.75) which crossed 57m shares by local investors. There was also a strategic off-market cross in Transnationwide which saw 199m shares exchanging hands. Other notable counters include Stanbic ($4m), Zenith ($2.4m) and Guaranty ($1.9m). The banking stocks were down -0.05% while consumers were up +1.16%.

The industrial index ended the week up a marginal +0.095 points.The most active names on the day include NatFoods ($1.5m), OML ($668k), Delta ($665k), Simbisa ($431k) and Innsscor($404k).
