A very slow day in Nairobi with no decent crosses worth reporting on as no names broke the $1m turnover mark.
A solid day in Port Louis thanks to a few crosses in MCBG as a total of 143k shares changed hands in the name as the unbelievable bull-run in the banking stock continued, closing +2.8% higher at Rs277.
Nothing much to report on from Lagos on the first trading day of the week after the long weekend with some action in GTB ($3m) and UBA ($2.4m) the only names worth mentioning. Banking stocks had a very solid day with the sector gaining +3.16% thanks to UBA (+8.17%) and GTB (+4.35%) while consumers closed +0.84% higher on low volume.

There was some broad based activity in Harare today with crosses in Delta ($809k), Econet ($774k), Innscor ($442k) and Masimba ($330k) driving proceedings.
