Botswana: DCI -0.01%, USD 126k

Another slow day in Gaborone with nothing to report unfortunately.

Kenya: NSE 20 -0.28%, USD 2.4m

An absolutely nothing day in Nairobi. Foreign activity was also extremely low.

Mauritius: Semdex -0.09%, USD 790k

Activity continues to underwhelm in Port Louis with a bit of action in MCBG as 57k shares changed hands while the rest of the market was quiet.

Nigeria: ASI +0.91%, USD 7.4m

Another quiet day in Lagos although the removal of the fuel subsidy did seem to add some positive impetus to the market. Banks rose by 1.43% with all major names closing in the green. Activity was generally muted except for Zenith (+1.45%, N14.00). Consumers rose by 1.35% led by NB (+2.54%, N121.00). We also witnessed a couple of crosses in Wapco (-1.45%, N68.00).

Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.29%, USD 244k

Much of the same in Harare again with some small activity in Econet ($163k) the only name worth mentioning.
