Botswana: DCI unch, USD 89k
Some small activity across the board on another dull day in Gaborone.
Kenya: NSE20 +1.72%, USD 5.72m
The market closed higher on the last day of trading before the re-run of the presidential election on Thursday the 26th of October, with names like ARML, EABL and EQBNK lifting the market higher and were also the stocks with the highest turnover, accounting for a total of 68% of value traded. The NSE will be closed both tomorrow and Thursday (October 25th and 26th).
Mauritius: Semdex -0.14%, USD 2.88m
The indices closed south again today with the SEMDEX down 14bps and the SEM-10 down 16bps. Turnover was driven by MCBG (unch, Rs275) with approximately 114k shares exchanging hands. SBMH (-0.3%, Rs7.64) continued its downward trend.
Nigeria: ASI +0.33%, USD 5.03m
A pretty quiet day in Nigeria as the action was dominated by crosses in Guaranty, Zenith, UBA and Access with the afore mentioned names accounting for a total of 67% of turnover. All indices except the Insurance and Industrials closed higher on the day.

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.16%, USD 8.44m
Profit taking for the second consecutive session pushed the industrial index lower in Harare. Turnover was decent at $8,44m geared towards the usual Delta ($2.45m) and Econet ($3.87m). Foreign participation was balanced with inflows of $2.66m compared to outflows of $2.34m.
