Botswana: DCI unch, USD 1.7m

A very active day in Gaborone thanks to some action in FNBB (2m shares), Letshego (2.1m shares) and Sefalana (297k shares).

Kenya: NSE 20 -0.19%, USD 1.7m

A completely dire day in Nairobi on the activity front with nothing worth mentioning.

Mauritius: Semdex +0.10%, USD 2.3m

A rather active day in Port Louis with some decent local action in MCBG (unch, Rs223.25) and Policy driving volumes.

Nigeria: ASI +1.05%, USD 7.6m

A few late crosses helped the market save face from total embarrassment with some action in DangCem ($2.8m) and Zenith ($2m) the only names breaking the $1m mark. Banks manged to close the day higher after trading lower for most of the session thanks to UBA (+2.86%), Zenith (+1.60%) and GTB (+0.60%). Consumers (+0.63%) also closed higher thanks to Cadbury (+5.0%).

A rather “nothing” day in Zimbabwe. Some mild activity in Delta (86c) being the main highlight.
