Nothing to report from Gaborone.
Much of the same in Nairobi unfortunately as the lack of interest permeates throughout the market with some small activity in CFC Stanbic and Safcom driving proceedings as 1.2m shares and 4m shares changed hands in the names respectively. EQBNK (unch) is due to release Q3 2016 results tomorrow.
From bad to worse in Lagos with the GTB ($1.4m) the only name worth mentioning. Banking stocks came under a bit of pressure with the sector closing -0.60% lower thanks to GTB (-0.84%) while consumers (-0.15%) also closed in negative territory.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Some profit-taking took place on the Harare bourse today while activity was generally muted. There was some trading in Delta (73c), Innscor (31.15c) and Old Mutual (322c).
