A quiet day in Botswana with only some mild action in Sefalana (910t) followed by Choppies (415t) and BIHL (1137t).
A better day in Nairobi as turnover increased to $7.9m with foreigners accounting for 51.7% of activity. A large foreign cross of 150k shares in BATK was the highlight of the day with the name closing +3.0% higher. Local participation in Safcom drove activity in the telco as 10.69m shares traded. Foreign purchases (87%) was not enough to help KNCB as the name fell -0.9% on 2.23m shares. EQBNK managed to close the day unchanged as foreigners dominated sales in the counter. KPLL had a great day and managed to gain a staggering 15% after releasing FY 2014 numbers which saw EPS increase 87.1%.
A rather lack lustre day in Lagos as total value traded amounted to a very dull USD 18.8m. There was some action in the likes of Zenith ($5.28m), Diamond Bank ($2.32m), GTB ($1.37m) and NB ($1.28m). Banks closed the day lower with the Index falling -0.51% as ETI (-3.89%), UBA (-3.85%) and FBNH (-1.90%) dragged the sector lower. Consumers (+0.03%) closed slitghly higher thanks to Nestle (+1.12%) and NB (+0.62%).

A quiet day in Zimbabwe with nothing much to note. Econet retreated somewhat to 77c after trading at 78c yesterday with the lions share of the activity taking place in the telco while there was also decent action in Innscor (66c).
