A rather solid day from an activity point of view thanks once again to Letshego as 6.3m shares changed hands in the name while the rest of the market remains quiet.
Another fairly active day in Kenya thanks to a couple of decent crosses. Today we saw some heavy foreign action in EABL (-1.2%, KES241). There was also more mild action in Safcom (+2.4%, KES18.85) and KNCB (unch, KES26.25).
Another uninspiring day in Lagos as interest continues to wane. Banks slipped by a further 1.25% today although outside of GTB (-4bps, N27.00) and 1 cross in ETI (-34bps, N11.66) the sector was rather quiet. Consumers closed marginally lower on scrappy volumes.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Another dire day in Harare.
