There was some small activity in Letshego as 540k shares traded while the rest of the market was very quiet.
Another quiet day outside of a couple of crosses. The main cross was in BATK where we saw a foreign-foreign cross at KES800 (+2.6%). There was also some action in EABL (+1.8%, KES285) and Safcom (unch, KES16.75) while ARML also saw a foreign-foreign cross (+80bps, KES30.00).
A decent day from an activity point of view in Port Louis with some action in MCBG and SBMH driving proceedings as 110k shares and 23.8m shares changed hands in the names respectively.
Yet another pathetic day in Lagos with virtually nothing to write home about. Banks gained 65bps although outside of GTB (+1.00%, N14.13) the sector was extremely dull. The consumers closed the day marginally in the red although there was nothing in the sector worth noting.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Some small activity in FBC ($256k), Econet ($190k) and Fidelity ($149k) the only names worth mentioning on another dull day.
