Another decent day in Gaborone today with some action in Sechaba ($1.9m), FNBB ($856k) and Letshego ($213k)
Action today was split across a number of different counters with these names seeing some solid crosses. The major action went through in Safcom (-1.00%, KES24.75) with the telco bearing witness to multiple crosses. The banks also saw some decent volumes and both were extremely strong – Equity closed at KES44.25 (+0.57%) and KCB unchanged with KES42.25. The only other name worth mentioning was EABL closing at KES266.00 in the breweries trading down (-0.75%).The rest of the market was quiet.
A rather slow day in Port Louis today with MCBG (-0.4%, Rs268) accounting for about 58% of daily turnover. Some crosses went through in NMH (Rs21.4) with 124.9k shares traded.
A very impressive day Loagos today all thanks to some large crosses in the likes of Access (-0.38%, $5.06m), Zenith (-1.02%, $2.5m), Guaranty (-1.47%, $1.2m) and NB (-1.55%, $1.1m). Banking stocks had a solid day, but it must be said that there was a sell-off from the day's highs into the close as the sector closed -1.25% lower and consumers saw a -1.02% drop also closing in negative territory on low volume.

Not a bad day in Dar es Salam today as CRDB traded almost 96% of the market turnover. Vodacom Tanzania finally listed on the stock exchange today after being stalled for a couple of months, the price was up +5.88% to TZS900 on just 1,7k shares.
