Groundhog day in Lagos with nothing much going on and foreign participation being on the low side. Yet again local trading in Oando ($4.6m) and Transcor ($2.7m) were the main focal points. In normal trading the banks ended the day down 2bps although activity was light in the sector outside of Access (+1.01%, N10.00). Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.

The Zimbabwean market just cannot seem to get going in any meaningful way as the index fell slightly on a general lack of volumes. Econet was the bulk of activity today as the telco gained back up to 74c. Delta closed unchanged at 125.01c while Innscor closed at 74c.
