Nothing to report from Gaborone.
Another solid day on the activity front in Nairobi thanks to a large local cross in KNCB ($3.7m) with the banking giant closing the day +0.70% higher. There was also some solid action in Safcom ($2.3m) as the telco closed the day -1.20% lower on foreign selling. Elsewhere, there was finally some form of broad based activity in the market with a few crosses in the likes of BMBC ($1.6m), BATK ($1.1m) and EQBNK ($1.0m).
MCBG bounced back after a tough couple of days and rose by 80bps to Rs240.00 on decent volume. There was also some trading in SBMH (+30bps, Rs7.60) and ENL Land (+1.1%, Rs49.45).
Things slowed down dramatically today with some action in GTB ($3m), Access ($2.2m) and NB ($1.2m) driving proceedings. Banking stocks (+1.71%) continued where they left off yesterday thanks to GTB (+4.07%) and Access (+2.93%). Consumers (+1.99%) also had a good day thanks to NB (+2.07%).

A rather active day in Harare with Econet dominating the charts. The name jumped up significantly to 24c on decent volume.
