Crosses in RDCP (3.4m shares) and Sechaba (232k shares) drove proceedings today while the rest of the market was dead quiet.
An incredibly dull day in Nairobi with turnover falling to $3.6m as foreign participation fell to 63%. A foreign cross in BATK was the highlight of the day as 90k shares traded in the name. Some local action drove proceedings in KNRE as 3.2m shares traded. Not much on the go in Safcom and EABL as 4.2m shares and 223k shares traded in the names respectively.
Yet another dull day in Mauritius. MCBG (-10bps, Rs207.75) was once again the most actively traded stock.
From bad to worse in Lagos in terms of activity as turnover fell to $7.8m with some small activity in GTB ($2m), FBNH ($1.1m) and UACN ($1m). Banks managed to close the day higher with the sector gaining +0.16% thanks to ETI (+2.15%). Consumers (-0.60%) closed lower with some pressure on Flour Mills (-2.32%) and NB (-1.69%).

Econet yet again dominated the day as more than 2.6m shares changed hands at a stable price of 18c. The index continues to tumble though and fell by a further 1.25%.
