Some activity in Sefalana the only name worth mentioning as 111k shares traded in the counter while the rest of the market was very quiet.
A rather average day in terms of activity as foreigners continue to dominate proceedings with total value traded amounting to $6.3m. EABL (+0.4%) was the most active counter on the day as 1m shares traded in the brewer. Not musch on the go in Safcom (+0.9%) as 4.1m shares traded in the telco.
Some chunky crossing took place in NMH (-60bps, Rs17.40) today which really helped overall turnover as the rest of the market was extremely quiet. In terms of tourist arrivals we saw an 11% increase in arrivals for Nov 2015.
Things slowed own again in Lagos with turnover amounting to a dull $12m with some activity in Zenith ($4.2m) and GTB ($1.7m) the only names worth mentioning. Banks came under some pressure with the sector falling -1.06% thanks to Zenith (-2.44%) and GTB (-1.96%).
