Another quiet day in Gaborone.
For most of the day there was absolutely nothing going on until a late flurry in names like Safcom and CFCI. However, volumes were still extremely dire and it was a quiet end to a quiet week.
Some decent action recorded today in MCBG (unch, Rs223.00) and Ciel (unch, Rs5.98) highlighted the Mauritian bourse today. Of note, PBL reached an all-time high of Rs421.75 albeit on tiny volumes.
Well, we really are scraping the bottom of the barrel now. Banks fell by 1.66% while Consumers dropped by 1.08% on a day of dismal activity.
Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.
Some nice action to close the week in Harare. As has been the case, much of this was driven by Delta (62.5c) which continues to run higher.
