Movers & Shakers: October 28, 2016

Botswana: DCI unch, USD 133k

A dull day in Botswana.

Kenya: NSE 20 +0.10%, USD 622k

An absolutely atrocious session in Nairobi with foreigners practically not trading at all. There was nothing to write home about.

Mauritius: Semdex -0.10%, USD 560k

Not much on the go in Port Louis with some small activity in MCBG (35k shares) and SBMH (320k shares) the only names worth mentioning.

Nigeria: ASI +0.21%, USD 3.4m

Yet another woeful day in Lagos as barely $3m traded with foreigners still wary of the bourse. On a day like this it is almost not worth noting anything but the most active stocks were GTB (-62bps, N23.85) and Seplat (+1.33%, N380.00).

Please note that the index figure above is correct at the time of writing.

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.17%, USD 1.0m

A decent enough day form an activity point of view to end the week in Harare thanks to Delta (433k), Econet ($241k) and Innscor ($155k).
