A woeful day in Gaborone today as only BTCL entered double digits trading $17k amounting to 65% of total market turnover.
The market closed the week flat as turnover declined to $5.3m and foreign participation also declined to 59% from 64%. Safcom was the most active name on the day, accounting for 42% of turnover.
Not a bad way to end the week in Port Louis with Rs69m changing hands geared towards MCBG declining 0.8% sitting at Rs258.00, SBM appreciating 0.1% at Rs45.05 and Tera retreating on large volumes by 2.2% at Rs28.50 as the rest of the market was quiet.
The market closed the week on a negative note as the biggest name on the index, Dangcem, closed -2% lower. Access and Guaranty had the highest turnover on the day as both names accounted for a total of 40% of total market turnover.

The market traded slightly higher today, as Econet and Delta led the proceedings accounting for 71% of turnover.
