A quiet day in Gaborone today.
The market closed flat on the day on slightly increased turnover. Safaricom was the major name once again with crosses in the stock accounting for 70% of turnover as the price remained unchanged. Foreign participation on the day was up to 70% from 54%.
Indices closed on the downside today in Port Louis. Turnover was driven by MCBG (unch, Rs271.00) and SBMH (+0.8%, Rs7.52) altogether accounted for 53% of total turnover.
The market closed higher on the day as all indices were up, with the Oil & Gas index dominating the gains, led by Seplat. Crosses in Guaranty and Dangcem dominated the turnover, as they both accounted for a total of 45% of market turnover.

OKZ ($8m) and FMP ($6m), dominated the session today accounting for 99% of turnover. Econet continued its trend down -1.8% to close at $0.86. OML also closed lower today -11% at $4.50.
