Some small activity in Letshego (-0.02%, 188t) accounted for 87% of turnover today.
The market saw increased turnover on the day as more sellers came out in Safaricom, which was 1% lower to close at 26.00. The stock also dominated the turnover, accounting for approximately 70% of total market turnover. Foreign participation slightly increased to 54% from 51%.
MCBG continued the upward trend closing +2.7% higher at Rs271.00, accounting for 66% of turnover. Both the SEMDEX (+0.64%) and the SEM-10 (+0.88%) closed firmly in the green.
Another negative day in Nigeria, as all indices, bar the Insurance index, closed lower on the day. Zenithbank & Guaranty were the dominant names on the day recording $4.4m and $4.3m respectively, together accounting for 58% of turnover.

A decent day in Harare with a cross in Nicoz ($7.03m) accounting for 90% of total turnover. The rest of the market was extremely quiet. Foreign buys amounted to $56k while sales stood at $40k.
