Botswana: DCI +0.01%, USD 1.82m
A solid day to end the week in Gaborone as turnover amounted to $1.82m thanks to crosses in Barclays (1.55m shares), Sefalana (500k shares) and Cresta (5.04m shares).
Kenya: NSE 20 +0.42%, USD 4.6m
Things slowed down in Nairobi today as foreign participation fell to 42% with turnover amounting to $4.6m. There was a decent cross in NSE of 7.24m shares with the buyer being foreign while the seller was local. There was also a cross in ARML of 1m shares with the buyer being local while the seller was foreign. Large cap stocks Safcom, EQBNK, KNCB and EABL were very quiet in the absence of foreign participation.
Mauritius: Semdex -0.15%, USD 1.9m
A solid enough day to end the week in Port Louis as turnover amounted to $1.9m thanks mostly to SBMH as 20.2m shares traded in the name while MCBG (3k shares) was extremely quiet. Both major banking stocks ended the day unchanged.
Nigeria: ASI +0.19%, USD 18.9m
It was a relatively quite day in Lagos with a few crosses dominating proceedings as expected with turnover amounting to $18.9m. The major crosses were in Guinness ($6.91m), Nestle ($3.37m), NB ($2.29m) and FBNH ($1.14m). Banks (+0.47%) closed the last session of the week higher thanks to ETI (+1.34%) and GTB (+0.94%). Consumers (+0.26%) also closed higher thanks mostly to Guinness (+5.76%).

Zimbabwe: Industrials +0.11%, USD 281k
Absolutely nothing on the go in Harare today as turnover amounted to $281k with DAWN ($265k) the only name worth mentioning as not even a single trade was registered in Delta or Econet.
