Not a bad way to start the week in Gaborone with 2 names accounting for the lions share of turnover. FNBB ($84.59k) accounted for 70% of the market while Primetime ($22.50k) and FPC ($11.25k) were the only names worth a mention.
The market started the week on a quiet note as turnover declined by 72% from the previous day. Safcom and Stanbic accounted for a total of 66% of turnover.
A massive cross in MCBG (-0.7%, Rs271)dominated the session today with 1.69m shares exchanging hands. Both the Semdex (-0.31%) and the Sem-10 (-0.50%) opened the week lower.
It was a positive start to the week in Nigeria, with only the consumers closing lower on the day. Zenith and Guaranty had the highest turnover on the day, with both accounting for a total of 30% of total market turnover.

The industrial index recovered slightly to close the day 0.30 points firmer. Econet drove proceedings today accounting for 64% of turnover. There was also some small activity in OML.
