Letshego once again dominated the day accounting for 69% of turnover albeit thin volumes across the board.
The market closed the week marginally higher, while foreign participation declined to 38%. Safcom was the most active name on the day, accounting for 56% of turnover as its price declined 0.85% to close at 29.25.
The Mauritius bourse saw almost all indices close the session in positive territory with the Semdex appreciating to 2,297.83 points as total turnover was Rs43.1m for the day. CIM advanced 1.9% closing at Rs10.50 and GRIT was unmoved at Rs1.44 accounting for a total 52.3% of the market, SBM also unchanged trading at Rs7.60 and Phoenix Beverages up a massive 14.6% at Rs650.00 were the only names with some decent activity.
It was a positive close to the week in Nigeria, with the major talk on the day being the cross of 1.16b shares of access crossed at 13.00, accounting for almost 80% of turnover. The Industrials and Consumers helped tilt the index into the positive region with all other indices closing lower on the day.

A decent day to close off the week in Harare as market action was spread across the board. Delta ($366k) lead the way trading at 156.00c which was about 17% of turnover while Hippo Valley (167.93c, $236k), Seedco (195.00c, $222k), BATZ (1975.00c, $203k), Innscor (93.50c, $193k), Padenga (41.50c, $182k) and FBC (20.00c, $143k) all had a semi decent day.
