Another slow day in Gaborone with some small activity across the board.
The positive run in Kenya continued today with significantly higher turnover. Blocks in Equity Bank, Safcom and EABL dominated the action, accounting for 86% of turnover. Safcom traded at an all time high of 31.75.
Both the Semdex (-16bps) and the Sem-10 (-14bps) closed in the red today. Turnover was decent and lead by the banking duo SBMH (-0.5%, Rs7.60) and MCBG (-0.1%, Rs275.00) together accounted for 59%.
The negative streak in Nigeria has refused to come to a halt for 6 straight trading sessions, with only the Banks closing higher on the day. Dangcem, Guaranty, NB and Zenith dominated the turnover on the day, accounting for 65% of total market turnover.

The industrial index was down in Harare today thanks to Econet (-1.4%, $0.6704). Turnover also depreciated and was led by OML ($212k), Innscor ($164k) and Delta ($127k).
