Another slow day in Gaborone with some small activity in Sefalana the only name worth mentioning as 129k shares traded.
An absolutely massive day in Nairobi as foreigners completely dominated proceedings. There was a very large foreign cross in BATK (-1.4%) as 1.3m shares changed hands in the name. EABL was also very active as the brewer managed to gain +0.3% on 2.5m shares. Safcom continued with it's latest rally as the telco managed to gain +2.0% with 21m shares traded on the day. According to Business Daily, Safaricom will be partnering with Craft Silicon in its taxi hailing application dubbed Little Cabs by way of aiding in its development, offering WiFi and a payment platform through MPesa. KNCB's woeful run continued with the name coming under some serious foreign selling pressure and closing -1.4% lower.
A much quieter day in Mauritius with MCBG (unch, Rs212.50) the major mover.
Another extremely dull day in Lagos with some activity in GTB ($3.2m) the only name worth mentioning as the lack of interest permeates throughout the market. Banks managed to close in positive territory with the sector gaining +1.00% thanks to GTB (+1.08%) and Zenith (+0.68%). Consumers (+1.66%) also closed higher thanks to a very solid performance in Nestle as the name managed to close +8.98% higher.

A chunky cross in Delta today pushed the index down 3.21% as the beverages giant fell to 60.29c. There was also some activity in Econet (23.05c).
