Botswana: DCI -0.03%, USD 60k

Another day with nothing to report from Gaborone.

Kenya: NSE 20 -0.87%, USD 5.6m

A rather average day from an activity point of view as foreigners accounted for 60.7% of proceedings but were net sellers to the tune of $1.3m. KNCB's recent poor run continued as the market heaveyweight fell -1.4% to close at KES 35.50 on 3.7m shares. EQBNK managed to close the day unchanged as 2.2m shares changed hands. Not much on the go in EABL and Safcom as 196k shares and 2m shares traded in the names respectively.

Mauritius: Semdex -0.26%, USD 2m

A much better day in Port Louis thanks to some action in MCBG as 249k shares changed hands in the name while there was also some activity in LUX (138k shares) and IBL (36k shares).

Nigeria: ASI -0.26%, USD 12.1m

A better day in terms of activity but still nothing to write home about with some action in GTB ($3.1m), DangCem ($2.4m) and NB ($2.3m) the only names worth mentioning. Banking stocks closed the day lower with the sector falling -1.03% with weakness in GTB (-2.63%), ETI (-1.99%) and Zenith (-0.33%). Consumers (-0.99%) also closed the day lower with some pressure on NB (-2.31%). Inflation for May rose +15.6%.

Zimbabwe: Industrials -0.12%, USD 1.3m

Another decent day from an activity point of view in Harare thanks once again to Delta ($1.1m) as 2.25m shares traded in the name while the rest of the market remains quiet.
